Throughout the third
quarter of this year I have learned many things about myself that can help me
become a better student in the long run. This includes how to abide by the
rules of plagiarism and copywriter. I have learned this lesson during the third
quarter research project where I had used another’s work without citing the
source and I also did not paraphrase. I used this as a learning opportunity for
plagiarism and how important and severe it actually is.
Another thing that I have learned in the
third quarter is to not put off assignments for the last minute to do them
because you will not be able to do them to your best ability. This is a very
true statement for me because I am a huge procrastinator. This is one of my
worst things about me when it comes to school due to the fact that I always
wait till the last minute to complete assignments and instead of doing them
properly I feel rushed and complete them quickly rather than with tacking my
time on them.
